Michael Castellano joined C&A Financial Group as Managing Director to lead and grow the firm’s recruiting efforts. With a passion for helping others find meaningful and fulfilling careers, Mike brings a dynamic blend of financial services experience, entrepreneurial drive, and community-focused leadership to the role.

Mike began his career on Wall Street as a broker on the foreign exchange desk, building a strong foundation in financial markets. He later spent over a decade in medical and surgical sales working with Physicians and Private Equity Groups, where he consistently ranked as a top performer in both sales and management.

What drew Mike back to financial services—and ultimately to C&A Financial—was the opportunity to make a deeper impact within his own community. As a resident within the local community, Mike is not only committed to helping individuals and families gain control of their finances, but also to building stronger, more connected communities. Michael’s unique ability to connect with people, understand their aspirations, and guide them with clarity and purpose is one of his greatest strengths. Whether he's helping someone find a new career path in financial services or coaching a client through better cash flow management, he brings energy, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.

A graduate of Monmouth University and former collegiate football player and team captain, Mike remains passionate about sports and teamwork. He ties his leadership philosophy to the lessons learned through sports: discipline, teamwork, resilience, and the importance of coaching. He currently coaches youth football and is the Director of the Youth Football Program in Wall, NJ, where he mentors young athletes both on and off the field.

For Mike, community is everything—it's where he lives, leads, and gives back. He thrives on building relationships and bringing people together. His commitment to the special needs community is driven by his lifelong connection to it – his brother has Down syndrome and has been a source of inspiration throughout his life. Mike has been involved in various special needs initiatives for several years, including the Special Olympics.

In his downtime, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 boys, enjoying outdoor activities and watching college football. His ability to truly get to know people—their goals, dreams, and challenges—is what sets him apart. He is excited to use those strengths to support and inspire others using the same coaching mindset to help in their personal and professional journey.
